Week of LOVE

On this week of Love it is interesting to watch how people respond and what they do. There are those who don't do anything, there are those who do everything. But what does it all mean? What is the point? The media make it sound like if don't do anything then somehow that makes you a bad person. I think that you should always be telling people that you love them and showing them through your actions. We shouldn't have to devote a day to make sure people know that we love them. It gets a little superficial when we have to buy a Valentines day card and buy a dozen red roses that are over priced for the week, wait till next week they will be half half, and all the valentines day stuff will be discounted... For those of us who don't have a spouse or BF/GF to celebrate with, who cares go have fun with others that don't have dates. Go buy roses for your self if you really want roses! That way you can pick out the ones you like. I'm not going to lie it is nice to be noticed and get presents but it is just unnecessary to put so much pressure on one day...

There are other ways to celebrate this week:

~ Go feed the Hungry - that will show some people some love who may not always feel it.
~ Adopt/Support a Child - Use your money you would buy roses with to help a kid in need
~ Love your enemies - They need love too
~ Tell those your close with that you appreciate them - they may not really know that you do
~ Help out those who need your help/support - that shows love
